The job

A disorganised supplies and laundry space that needed to work harder. I cleared it, redesigned it and rebuilt it so changeovers run faster and stock is no longer over-ordered.

Before and after

The laundry worktop before: four machines under a cluttered worktop and two shelves
BeforeThe laundry and work bench.
The laundry worktop after: the same machines with a clear wooden worktop and tidy, labelled shelves
AfterThe same bench, cleared and organised.
The supplies wall before: shelves of products and a clothes rail piled high
BeforeThe supplies wall.
The supplies wall after: a metal shelving unit with labelled grey trays and boxed paper rolls
AfterSupplies, sorted into labelled trays.
A metal shelving unit with laundry baskets, folded towels and labelled bedding boxes
AfterLaundry and spare bedding.
A white bookcase with striped storage boxes next to a green metal locker
AfterStorage for everything else.

Done for the owners of Ditchling Cabin, where I have worked as part-time operations manager since 2018.
